Maamba, Southern Province– CTPD with support from OXFAM Zambia this morning officially opened a Natural Resource Watch Group training on advocacy and community participation in natural resource governance.

The aim of the training was to build capacity of Natural Resource Watch Group in advocacy and participation in governance of natural resources activities in their respective communities.

During the training, CTPD Communications Specialist Mwaka Nyimbili took time to sensitize the Natural Resource Watch Group on the importance of protecting themselves and others from COVID-19.She also emphasized the need for the Natural Resource Watch Group to stay safe by taking precautions, such as physical distancing, wearing a mask, keeping rooms well ventilated, avoiding crowds, cleaning their hands, and coughing into a bent elbow or tissue.
