The Research Wing is an essential element of the organization, and it plays a critical role in conducting research that generates evidence to guide policymaking and legislative reform. The Wing consists of five primary thematic areas, each with distinct functions that help achieve the research objectives. The research wing consists of 5 thematic areas.
The Wing works to complement the research Wing by disseminating evidence generated from research, as well as facilitating for various interface engagements with experts and select stakeholders on research and other topical research related issues. The Advocacy and Campaigns Wing also works with the Communications and Media unit to ensure that visibility of CTPD work is made manifest on various platforms including radio, TV, social media, and including professional platforms like LinkedIn. Furthermore, to effectively carry out its mandate, CTPD through the Communications and Media unit provides support to the implementation of all other advocacy and campaigns work.
The Finance and Administration Wing manages CTPD's administrative and financial operations, ensuring the organization sustainably achieves its goals while maintaining the confidence of donors, stakeholders and employees. This Wing encompasses the Human Resource and Administration Unit, which focuses on managing the organization's most valuable assets, its people and the Fundraising Unit, which leads resource mobilization efforts to secure funding for CTPD's operations and activities.
